You will plan, organize, and coordinate group and individual activities, events, and special programs while managing a team of activity staff and volunteers.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma required.
• Associate degree in gerontology, business, human services or related field preferred.

Aufgaben

• Oversee all life-enrichment activities and programs for residents.
• Create and lead arts, crafts, music, drama, educational and exercise activities.
• Prepare monthly newsletter, activity calendar, and meetings.
• Hire, train and supervise Resident Lifestyle Assistants, Coordinators and Drivers.
• Recruit and supervise volunteers when appropriate.
• Encourage resident participation and celebrate achievements.
• Coordinate equipment and supplies and ensure accessibility.
• Collaborate with Marketing on community events.
• Participate with Executive Director in budget planning.
• Engage families and community to support the activity program.
• Support quality of care through program participation.
• Arrange transportation to events, including driving a company vehicle.
