Cogir Senior Living in Albany, Oregon is seeking a dynamic Resident Lifestyle Director to plan and oversee life-enrichment activities that support residents’ physical, emotional, and social well‑being. You will manage a small team, coordinate events, and collaborate with staff to ensure programs align with policies and resident needs.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience designing and leading life-enrichment activities for seniors in IL/AL/MC settings.
• One year of leadership experience in senior living, hospitality, or healthcare management preferred.
• Dementia care training or experience is a plus.
• Previous event planning experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct oversight of life-enrichment activities, outings, and programs within and outside the community.
• Create and lead arts, crafts, music, drama, educational, and exercise activities.
• Prepare monthly newsletters and activity calendars; lead monthly activity meetings.
• Hire, train, and supervise Resident Lifestyle Assistants, Coordinators, and Drivers.
• Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers when appropriate.
• Encourage resident participation and celebrate achievements.
• Coordinate equipment and supplies; ensure accessibility in storage.
• Work with Marketing on planning community events.
• Assist Executive Director in budgeting for the department.
• Engage families and community to support the activity program.
• Coordinate transportation for residents to events, including driving a company vehicle.
