Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Resident Lifestyle Director to design and oversee a life-enrichment program that supports residents’ physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being. You will plan activities, lead a team, and coordinate events both inside and outside the community.

You will hire and train staff, supervise volunteers, and collaborate with Marketing and the Executive Director on budgets and community outreach. Strong leadership and event planning skills are essential.

Formación

• High School degree is required.
• Associate degree or higher in gerontology, business, human services, or related field preferred.
• At least one year of leadership experience in senior living, hospitality, or healthcare management in a supervisory role preferred.
• Previous event planning experience strongly preferred.
• Creativity, empathy, patience, and passion for helping others.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills and ability to motivate.
• Knowledge of Excel, Word, and Canva.
• Ability to coordinate and conduct meetings.

Responsabilidades

• Direct oversight of all life-enrichment activities, outings, and programs centered around residents’ needs.
• Create and lead arts, crafts, music, drama, educational, and exercise activities.
• Prepare a monthly newsletter, calendar of activities, and monthly activity meetings.
• Hire, train, and supervise Resident Lifestyle Assistants, Coordinators, and Drivers.
• Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers when appropriate.
• Encourage resident participation and celebrate their achievements.
• Obtain necessary equipment and supplies and provide for accessibility via organized storage.
• Work with Marketing to assist with planning marketing events.
• Participate with the Executive Director in developing a budget for the department.
• Foster family and community support of the activity program via newsletters and events.
• Contribute to the community’s efforts to maintain and improve quality of care.
• Coordinate transportation of residents to/from events, may drive a company vehicle.
