Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Resident Lifestyle Director to lead a dynamic program of life-enrichment activities for residents, coordinating events, arts, and wellness offerings. You will hire and guide activity staff and volunteers, partner with Marketing, and help manage the department budget to enhance resident well-being.

You will oversee transportation, monthly newsletters, and community involvement, ensuring accessibility and high-quality care while fostering a warm, engaging living

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma required.
• Associate degree or higher in gerontology, business, or related field preferred.
• At least 1 year of leadership in senior living, hospitality, or healthcare management.
• Strong creativity, empathy, patience and passion for helping others.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with ability to motivate.
• Experience with Excel, Word, and Canva.

Responsabilités

• Direct oversight of all life-enrichment activities, outings, and programs centered around residents' needs.
• Create and lead arts, crafts, music, drama, educational, and exercise activities.
• Prepare a monthly newsletter and calendar of activities; lead monthly activity meetings.
• Hire, train, and supervise Resident Lifestyle Assistants, Coordinators, and Drivers.
• Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers when appropriate.
• Encourage resident participation and celebrate achievements.
• Coordinate equipment and supplies and manage accessible storage.
• Work with Marketing to plan events and promotions for the community.
• Assist Executive Director in developing the department budget.
• Foster family and community support of the activity program.
• Contribute to care quality through program participation.
• Coordinate transportation of residents to/from events, including driving when needed.
