Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; state requirements may apply.
• 1-3 years experience in activity programming is highly desired.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Flexible, imaginative, and passionate about working with seniors.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing, planning, and implementing a monthly activity program based on wellness dimensions.
• Lead 6-7 high quality programs per day.
• Survey residents to determine interests and satisfaction with activities.
• Coordinate with the program team to plan calendars, events, and outings.
• Build relationships with residents and families to encourage participation.
• Document and maintain records as required.
• Organize resident council meetings and manage activity spaces.
