You will prepare fresh, nutritious meals, follow menus with minimal supervision, and contribute to a positive, safe workplace for residents and staff alike.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in kitchens; preferred in hotels, hospitals, senior living or related operations
• High school diploma or equivalent certificate
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques
• Basic knife skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Fluent in English
• Current Food Handler certificate or First Aid Certification is a plus
• Positive attitude and ability to work well with all people, especially seniors

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery and execution of quality food service to residents and guests
• Be part of a supportive, high-performing team to redefine senior living and deliver top results
• Prepare fresh, nutritious, appealing meals for residents, team members, prospective residents, families and guests
