Job summary

Good Samaritan is hiring for a part-time food service/restaurants role at our Beatrice, NE facility. You will prepare and serve meals for patients, residents, staff and visitors, following menu guidelines and dietary requirements. Emphasis on sanitation, labeling, and safe food handling. Strong team work and communication needed.

Position offers day shifts with 8 hours weekly and potential benefits. Training will be provided; Serv Safe may be required depending on location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Read, write, and follow oral and written directions; perform basic math.
• Serv Safe may be required depending on location; additional endorsements may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, assembles baked goods, cooks, seasons and portions food for patients/residents, staff and visitors.
• Adheres to food quality standards of appearance, taste, temperature and sanitation.
• Performs washing and cleaning duties to ensure sanitation and cleanliness in cooking and serving areas.
• Maintains labeling and storage of food, equipment and machinery.
• Provides the highest quality and safest food to patients/residents, co-workers and guests.
