Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a dedicated kitchen staff member to prepare and serve meals for patients, staff and visitors at our Fargo facility. The role requires reliable, independent work ethic in a fast-paced environment under dietary supervisor direction.

Responsibilities include following recipes, ensuring food safety and sanitation, and coordinating with the team to meet daily meal production. Prior Serv Safe experience may be required depending on location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• On-the-job training provided.
• Must read, write and follow directions; basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, assemble baked goods, cook, season and portion food for patients/residents, staff, and visitors.
• Maintain food quality, sanitation, labeling and storage according to guidelines.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and follow HACCP guidelines.
• Work with internal customers and support team in a fast-paced hospital environment.
