Good Samaritan is a not-for-profit organization providing housing and services to seniors in a Christian environment. This facility, GSS NE Alma, is located in Alma, NE, and offers a full-time cooking position with a 32-hour workweek and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

The role prepares, cooks and portions food for patients and staff, following HACCP guidelines and dietary requirements. It requires basic math, reading/writing, and teamwork; Serv Safe and BLS may be required per location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write and follow directions; basic math skills.
• On-the-job training provided; Serv Safe may be required depending on location.
• BLS may be required depending upon location requirements.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, assemble and serve food for patients, residents, staff and visitors.
• Follow menu guidelines, dietary requirements and HACCP standards.
• Maintain sanitation, labeling and storage of food and equipment.
• Operate kitchen equipment and assist with cleaning tasks as needed.
