Good Samaritan is looking for a dedicated dietary services worker at our Roseville Independent Senior Living facility. The role involves preparing, cooking, portioning, and serving meals in line with menu and dietary requirements, ensuring high quality, appearance, and safety.

Staff will follow HACCP guidelines and maintain clean, organized kitchen and serving areas. Strong communication and teamwork are essential to coordinate with coworkers while maintaining accurate labeling and storage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of six months of applicable experience preferred.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• Serv Safe may be required to obtain within a designated time frame.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) may be required depending on location requirements.
• Driving may be required; valid driver's license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves food for patients/residents, staff, and visitors following menu and dietary guidelines.
• Adheres to HACCP guidelines and maintains sanitation and safety in cooking and serving areas.
• Operates kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, kettles, and grinders.
• Works with internal customers requiring strong communication and teamwork.
• Reads recipes and performs basic math for accurate measurements.
