Job summary

StoryPoint Waconia is seeking a Cook to prepare meals for residents and guests, following menus and recipes for 11am-7pm shifts. This is a full or part-time role offering opportunities for advancement and a rewarding team environment.

You will maintain kitchen standards, work with others, ensure freshness and proper seasoning, and follow safety and sanitation guidelines. Minimum of three years line cook experience and a HS diploma are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of line cook experience and/or training.
• Strong communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare food for residents, guests, and employees.
• Prepare food according to planned menu and standard recipes.
• Plate food items following portion guidelines and garnishing instructions.
• Assist other kitchen staff and perform duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Ensure sufficient prepped/prepared food and communicate shortages.
• Maintain kitchen station cleanliness and proper rotation of food.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and universal precautions.
