Job summary

StoryPoint Mequon is seeking a dependable Line Cook for part-time shifts 6am-2pm and 11am-7pm to prepare meals for residents and guests. This role supports a vibrant senior living community under the CommonSail Investment Group family.

You will follow planned menus and standard recipes, maintain clean, stocked stations, and contribute to a positive, patient-centered dining environment for residents and their families.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of line cook experience and/or training.
• Good communication skills required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare food for residents, guests, and employees.
• Prepare food according to planned menu using standard recipes.
• Plate food items following portion guidelines and garnishing instructions.
• Assist other kitchen staff as needed; perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Ensure sufficient food is prepped and prepared.
• Communicate shortages or outages to supervisor.
• Maintain freshness, cooking status, and proper seasoning of all foods served.
• Stock and clean station for next shift.
• Follow proper food rotation policies.
• Maintain a positive team attitude and support residents' well-being.
