Formación

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Two years of institutional or full-service restaurant cooking experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Meet state health related requirements and maintain required food handler permits.
• Understand food safety procedures, sanitation, and storage techniques.
• Desire to work with older adults and their families.

Responsabilidades

• Review menus and Daily Food Production Records for instructions.
• Prepare nutritious, appetizing meals according to menus, recipes, and physician orders.
• Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and portion-control procedures.
• Ensure food and supplies are available for meals planned.
• Supervise preparation of serving carts and ensure timely service.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen after meals; follow cleaning schedules.
• Resolve resident food complaints as required.
• Attend onboarding, annual training, and team meetings as requested.
• Report unsafe conditions or equipment problems promptly.
