Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a part-time Kitchen Utility Associate (Dishwasher) in our Colorado community. The role supports the culinary team by ensuring clean pots, dishes and utensils, enabling smooth meal service for residents.

The position is Tue/Wed only, requiring basic sanitation knowledge and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Prior kitchen experience and a Food Handler Card are preferred, flexibility to work weekends/holidays is helpful.

Qualifications

• 6–12 months of dishwasher or kitchen support experience is a plus but not required.
• Experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality is highly desirable.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Ensure items are dried and stored properly.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sweeping and mopping floors.
• Promptly remove trash, recycling, and food waste to keep the kitchen organized.
• Clean mats and garbage pails.
• Clean and sanitize food preparation surfaces, storage areas, and equipment as needed.
• Support the kitchen staff by replenishing supplies and equipment.
• Resupply chemicals, towel dispensers, and soap dispensers for sanitary operations.
