Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Kitchen Utility Associate (Dishwasher) to support the community's dining program. You will help keep pots, pans, and dishware clean so residents receive meals in a timely, sanitary manner.

Previous kitchen experience is a plus, but a positive attitude and reliability are essential. In this role, you’ll work in a fast-paced kitchen, follow sanitation standards, and collaborate with cooks and servers to ensure a smooth service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Food Handler Card is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Ensure all cleaned items are dried and stored properly.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area.
• Remove trash, recycling, and food waste regularly.
• Clean mats and garbage pails.
• Sanitize food prep surfaces and storage areas as needed.
• Support kitchen staff by replenishing supplies.
• Keep sanitation chemicals and dispensers stocked.
