Lake Region Healthcare's Mill Street Residence in Fergus Falls, MN is hiring a Housekeeping Assistant. The role involves cleaning and sanitizing the facility, assisting with resident transport to appointments, and supporting daily housekeeping operations.

Shifts run Monday to Friday, 8am–4:30pm, with an 80-hour biweekly schedule and pay range $16.18–$22.30 per hour. The team emphasizes interpersonal skills, patient attitude toward residents, and the ability to follow instructions while

Qualifications

• Work experience in a housekeeping and/or service-oriented profession preferred.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Patience, tact, enthusiasm and a positive attitude towards the elderly.
• Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift and grasp items.
• English speaking communication required.
• Must be able to carry out repetitive motions, moving wrists/hands/fingers; visual acuity essential.

Responsibilities

• Clean, wash, polish, sanitize, deodorize and disinfect all areas and items in the facility and resident apartments.
• Ensure storage areas, equipment, work and supply carts are cleaned and stored.
• Coordinate housekeeping services with residents and other departments during routine cleaning.
• Perform day-to-day laundry functions and tasks per laundry procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.
