Job summary

Mission Nursing Home in Minnesota is seeking a part-time Housekeeping & Laundry Aide to support daily cleaning and linen operations under the Environmental Services Director. You will follow safety, infection-control, and HIPAA guidelines while maintaining a clean, safe environment for residents and staff.

You should have a high school diploma or GED, be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written formats.
• Willingness to follow oral and written instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Must meet health requirements and pass DHS background screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning throughout the facility as assigned by the Environmental Services Director.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in accordance with regulations and facility policies.
• Handle soiled and clean linen in accordance with infection-control standards.
• Coordinate daily cleaning services with nursing and other departments as needed.
• Use PPE and follow safety, infection-control, and workplace policies.
• Attend required meetings and trainings; perform other duties as assigned.
