Job summary

Mill Street Residence in Fergus Falls, MN seeks a compassionate CNA to assist residents with daily living activities and personal care. You will document observations, monitor vital signs, and report changes to the RN. Strong communication and a caring demeanor are essential.

Hours are casual (less than 32 hours biweekly) with an hourly wage range of $18.83–$25.96. Lake Region Healthcare offers comprehensive benefits including medical/dental coverage and a 401k plan.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Minnesota CNA certification, 75-hour course, and/or successful completion of competency evaluation is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care including bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, washing and drying hair, nail care, and toileting.
• Assist residents with exercises or ambulation as directed by therapist or nurse.
• Remind/assist resident to take medications as directed by RN.
• Complete and record vital signs and weight as assigned.
• Assist with transfers using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
• Maintain infection control procedures.
• Document all care provided to residents and communicate changes to the RN.
