Job summary

Croasdaile Village Retirement Community in Durham, NC is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the Environmental Services Department and ensure high standards of cleanliness and resident satisfaction.

You will train and supervise a team of 10–20 staff, manage supplies and budget, and coordinate with other departments. A strong focus on infection control and exceptional resident relations is essential to maintain a safe, welcoming living environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising housekeeping staff and coordinating with other departments
• Ability to manage budget and supplies
• Knowledge of infection control policies and procedures
• Excellent communication with residents and team members

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise 10–20 employees in the Environmental Services Department.
• Train staff and ensure adherence to established standards and budget.
• Order supplies, approved chemicals, and equipment; support budget preparation.
• Coordinate annual cleaning activities and department functions with other departments.
• Implement infection control policies and ensure compliance across the department.
• Interact professionally with managers, co-workers, residents, vendors, and partners.
