Sunshine Retirement Living is seeking a housekeeping supervisor to uphold cleanliness in resident apartments and common areas, ensuring a positive environment for residents and staff. The role emphasizes integrity, attention to detail, and teamwork within a care community.

The position requires adherence to sanitation standards, effective communication, and ability to meet deadlines. Applicants will participate in ongoing training and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prior related experience preferred.
• Follow sanitation and safety standards in housekeeping.
• Communicate health concerns to management.
• Communicate effectively in English with residents and staff.
• Work in a team and maintain professional conduct.
• Pass background, health screening, and TB clearance if applicable.
• Maintain confidentiality of business information.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
• Meet department deadlines under time constraints.

Responsibilities

• Promptly documents and reports maintenance issues and safety hazards.
• Cleans resident apartments and common areas per checklist and schedule.
• Completes required documentation on time (checklists, logs).
• Removes trash per procedures.
• Deep cleans per schedule and protocols.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, residents, and guests.
• Attends training to fulfill state/provincial regulations.
• Assist with laundry management.
