Job summary

JGS Leavitt Family Jewish Home in Massachusetts is seeking a part-time Housekeeper. The role offers $16.00-$18.00 per hour based on experience, with PRN shifts scheduled 7:00AM-3:00PM, 5:00PM-11:00PM, including weekend and holiday rotations.

You will keep resident rooms and common areas clean and safe, perform dusting, vacuuming, mopping, laundry and waste removal, follow sanitation and infection-control standards, interact with residents with compassion, and promptly report maintenance or

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older.
Experience in housekeeping or senior living preferred.
Ability to communicate fluently in English.

Responsibilities

Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in resident rooms and common areas, following established sanitation and infection-control standards.
Perform daily housekeeping tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, laundry, and waste removal.
Use cleaning products and equipment safely and according to facility policies and manufacturer guidelines.
Interact with residents in a respectful, courteous, and compassionate manner, supporting their comfort and dignity.
Report maintenance needs, safety hazards, or unusual resident concerns promptly to supervisors.
Comply with all safety regulations, confidentiality requirements, and community policies.
