Job summary

StoneBridge Owensville is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper Aide to provide clean, safe, and homelike environments for residents, staff, and visitors. You will perform daily cleaning of resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas following facility procedures and safety rules.

This role requires friendly communication, respect for resident privacy, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and readiness to participate in safety training and ongoing in-service education. Training and benefits available.

Qualifications

• Healthcare environment experience preferred.
• Friendly attitude and excellent communication skills required.
• Must be able to express self adequately in written and oral communication and to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned resident rooms, bathrooms and common areas daily according to facility procedures.
• Cleans walls, ceilings, windows, mirrors, and waxed floors according to department procedures and cleaning schedules.
• Ensures housekeeping supplies are secured from residents at all times.
• Disposes of trash and waste following facility policies and procedures.
• Post safety signs when hazards are present during housekeeping activities.
• Uses PPE as required and follows chemical handling guidelines.
