Job summary

StoneBridge Senior Living is hiring a Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily housekeeping operations in our care facility, ensuring cleanliness, safety and resident comfort. You will support the Administrator by enforcing standards, coordinating schedules, and collaborating with Nursing for routine services.

The role requires supervisory experience, healthcare ES familiarity, and strong written and verbal communication to interact with residents, families, and staff members.

Qualifications

• Supervisory/management experience.
• Experience working in a healthcare environment in Environmental Services preferred.
• Friendly attitude and excellent communication skills required.
• Must be able to express self adequately in written and oral communication in an interdisciplinary care setting.

Responsibilities

• Assume the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability of supervising the housekeeping department.
• Assist the director in setting housekeeping standards.
• Schedule work assignments, preparing cleaning schedules, etc. Revise as necessary.
• Coordinate daily housekeeping services with nursing service during routine cleaning in resident areas.
• Schedule department work hours, assignments, and staffing to expedite work.
• Ensure areas are maintained clean, safe, and attractive.
• Communicate with Maintenance Director for state inspections and participate in survey training.
• Attend in-service education and apply information to job tasks.
• Monitor workplace safety and fire hazards; report issues promptly.
• Participate in fire and disaster drills; perform duties to ensure resident safety.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
