Job summary

StoneBridge Senior Living is seeking a Housekeeper Aide to maintain a safe, sanitary and homelike environment for residents, staff and visitors. Duties include cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms and common areas daily, following facility procedures and state/federal regulations.

The role emphasizes privacy, safety and proper handling of supplies. Requires a friendly, communicative team member who supports our care environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a healthcare environment in Environmental Services preferred.
• Friendly attitude and excellent communication skills required.
• Must be able to express self adequately in written and oral communication and to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary care setting with residents, families, and staff members.

Responsibilities

• Cleans resident rooms, bathrooms and common areas daily following procedures.
• Cleans walls, ceilings, windows, mirrors, and waxed floors per schedules.
• Safely handles and stores cleaning supplies and keeps them out of residents' reach.
• Disposes of trash and waste per facility policies, including biohazardous materials.
• Uses PPE when required and follows safety instructions for chemicals.
