Job summary

Sinceri Senior Living is seeking a dedicated full-time housekeeping associate to maintain clean, sanitary living spaces for residents. The role requires following documented procedures, cooperating with the maintenance team, and upholding safety and infection-control standards in the community.

You will clean resident rooms, offices, and common areas, handle laundry tasks as needed, and support a positive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and follow verbal and written directions.
• Ability to remain calm under stressful conditions.
• Effective communication with residents, families, staff and officials.
• Compassion for the elderly and understanding their needs.
• Able to work full or part time on a regular schedule.
• Must meet all state health requirements.
• Able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Follow cleaning schedule and instructions, including resident rooms, offices and public areas.
• Sweep and vacuum all assigned areas.
• Clean and/or polish room furnishings and fixtures.
• Clean windows and mirrors in resident rooms and public areas.
• Clean walls and ceilings and deodorize as needed.
• Clean all hallways, stairways and elevators as necessary.
• Empty all wastebaskets.
• Report unsafe conditions and repairs to Maintenance Director or Administrator.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policy.
• Keep janitor closets and housekeeping supply rooms clean and orderly.
• Assist with laundry duties as directed.
• Other duties as deemed necessary by supervisor or Administrator.
• Clean exterior windows, patios, or other outside areas.
