Holiday by Atria in Lenexa is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain resident apartments and common areas in a clean, sanitary, and courteous manner, while delivering friendly service to residents and guests.

The role includes cleaning, laundry, meal service support, and following sanitation procedures; strong organization, basic math and English communication are essential; the position offers benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
• Communicate effectively in English with employees and residents.
• General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices.
• Ability to retain orders (up to four at one time).
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide general housekeeping for the community and resident apartments, including vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning main entryways and common areas.
• Clean and defrost refrigerators, check heat system filters, change bed linens, ensure linen supplies, and manage waste.
• Perform deep cleaning of apartments as needed, including carpets, windows, and fixtures.
• Greet residents and guests, take orders, serve meals, and assist with tray delivery and table clearing.
• Complete side work and maintain sanitation procedures; may perform other duties as needed.
