Job summary

Holiday by Atria - Orchid Terrace is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain clean and sanitary resident apartments and community spaces. You will perform general cleaning, laundry, and upkeep of common areas with a courteous, resident-focused approach.

Responsibilities include vacuuming, dusting, stocking linens, and assisting in dining service as needed. The role emphasizes safety, sanitation, and teamwork within a warm senior living community in St. Louis, MO.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
• Communicate effectively in English with employees and residents.
• General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices.
• Ability to retain orders (up to four at one time).
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Community interior and resident apartments in a clean, sanitary, courteous manner.
• Vacuum, dust, clean main entry, common areas, dining room, hallways, patios, and apartments.
• Clean and defrost refrigerators, check heat system filters, change linens, and manage supplies.
• Provide deep cleaning as needed and ensure housekeeping standards are met.
• Launder all linens and follow sanitation procedures.
• Greet and assist residents during meal times and support dining service as needed.
• Turn mattresses with assistance and manage waste as required.
