Job summary

StoneBridge Effingham is seeking a compassionate Housekeeper Aide to maintain a safe, sanitary, comfortable and homelike environment for residents, staff and visitors. You will clean residents' rooms and common areas daily following facility procedures while respecting privacy and preferences.

Responsibilities include cleaning walls, windows and floors, disposing of waste per policy, using PPE when needed, and reporting safety hazards.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare environment preferred.
• Friendly attitude and excellent communication required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in interdisciplinary care settings.

Responsibilities

• Cleans resident rooms, bathrooms and common areas daily according to procedures.
• Respects resident privacy and knocks before entering rooms.
• Cleans walls, ceilings, windows, mirrors and floors per schedules.
• Disposes of trash and hazardous waste per policy.
• Uses PPE when at risk and follows chemical safety guidelines.
• Reports safety hazards and coordinates with Maintenance.
