Job summary

StoneBridge Effingham is seeking a compassionate Resident Assistant to provide daily nursing care and services to assigned residents in accordance with care plans and facility policies.

The role involves training to obtain Nursing Assistant certification, assisting with daily activities, meal preparation, and accurate intake recording, while contributing to a supportive, family-like team environment.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a 10th grade education or HS Diploma/GED equivalent.
• Candidates must be 16 years of age or older.
• Demonstrated competencies as a written and verbal communicator.
• Background and experience in shared decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide each assigned resident with compassionate routine daily nursing care and service.
• Attend and participate in scheduled training and educational classes to obtain certification as a Nursing Assistant.
• Assist residents with daily dental, mouth, bath and other care functions as necessary.
• Prepare residents for meals and serve food, record intake of food and fluids.
• All other duties as assigned.
