Job summary

StoneBridge Senior Living in Maryland Heights, MO is seeking a full-time Housekeeper Aide to maintain a clean, safe, and homelike environment for residents, staff, and visitors. You will perform daily cleaning of resident rooms, bathrooms and common areas in line with facility policies and state regulations.

The role requires a friendly demeanor, good communication, and the ability to follow safety procedures, lift up to 50 pounds, and work as part of an interdisciplinary care team.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare Environmental Services preferred.
• Friendly attitude and excellent communication skills required.
• Able to communicate effectively in written and oral form with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms and common areas daily according to facility procedures; respect resident privacy and room preferences.
• Clean walls, ceilings, windows, mirrors and floors per schedules and procedures.
• Secure housekeeping supplies out of reach of residents at all times.
• Dispose of trash and waste per facility policies and procedures.
• Use PPE and follow safety instructions when handling chemicals; consult MSDS for guidance.
• Report injuries and participate in safety and emergency procedures.
