Job summary

NEXDINE Hospitality is seeking a General Manager/CDM in Sarasota, FL to lead daily operations for a Senior Living unit. The role requires senior living experience, strong leadership, and a focus on financial and client objectives.

You will manage culinary and operations teams, drive customer satisfaction, and uphold safety and quality standards while guiding staff development and performance across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, culinary school certificate or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5-7 years’ experience in a Senior Living General Manager role.
• Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Direct and mentor Chef Manager and hourly staff in menu writing, cost control, food production and presentation.
• Oversee catering operations and ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
• Manage vendor relationships, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
• Lead payroll processing, budgeting, and financial reporting to meet goals.
• Motivate and develop staff through training, coaching, and performance management.
