Job summary

Aspira Rockland Manor Retirement Living is seeking a General Manager on a temporary 4-month contract. You will oversee all aspects of the residence, lead an interdisciplinary team, and drive occupancy, financial performance, and high-quality resident care.

This role reports to regional leadership and requires strong collaboration with wellness and sales functions. You will manage operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster community partnerships to promote the home as a trusted care

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Proven leadership with experience managing teams and operations.
• Experience in budget management and resource allocation.
• Sales and marketing experience to drive occupancy and community engagement.
• Strong verbal and written communication and stakeholder relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Build a high performing management team.
• Lead interdisciplinary Managers, Sales Consultants and Front Line staff.
• Plan and monitor overall residence operations.
• Develop short and long term operational plans for efficient operation.
• Provide support to achieve occupancy, NOI and operating margin targets.
• Address resident and family concerns promptly with corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with provincial regulations at site level.
• Collaborate with wellness and sales to drive outreach and occupancy.
• Foster community partnerships to promote the home.
