Job summary

Gravitas is seeking an Operations Manager for its Assisted Living community in New York. This leadership role oversees dining, housekeeping, activities, and concierge services, ensuring a high standard of luxury and service that makes residents feel at home.

You will collaborate with the Executive Director and department heads to deliver exceptional resident experiences while managing budgets and maintaining compliance with health regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in management.
• Knowledge of regulations relevant to Assisted Living.

Responsibilities

• Lead a culture of service excellence among staff.
• Collaborate with Executive Director and department heads to align hospitality services with the community mission.
• Manage a diverse team across dining, housekeeping, and recreation with mentorship.
• Develop and implement best practices for high-quality resident care.
• Regularly assess resident experience and implement changes.
• Ensure services meet residents and families’ expectations.
• Manage budgets and control costs without compromising quality.
• Provide oversight to front desk and concierge services.
• Ensure nutritious, well-balanced meals in coordination with culinary leadership.
• Collaborate on dining ambiance and events to enhance mealtimes.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety through housekeeping and maintenance teams.
• Assist with planning events and activities to enhance residents’ quality of life.
• Support seamless event execution and guest experience at all times.
• Provide a welcoming atmosphere for residents and visitors across the facility.
