Job summary

Ivy Park at Hawaii Kai is seeking a Business Office Director to oversee payroll and accounting controls, hire and lead the department, and ensure smooth administrative operations within a premier senior living community.

The role requires supervision experience, accounting/payroll expertise, and flexibility to cover varied shifts. Health, retirement benefits, and life insurance are among the offered perks.

Qualifications

• College course or other education in business administration/management preferred.
• Prefer 1 year of experience supervising and managing employees.
• Prefer 2 years of experience in accounting, human resources, and payroll — healthcare preferred.
• Ability to effectively train staff.
• Flexibility in work schedule including holidays, evenings, weekends, and additional shifts as needed.
• Proficiency with MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint).
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening, including TB tests.

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative duties for the Community, including recruiting, background checks, payroll, and benefits.
• Perform, administer, and oversee all accounting functions.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, residents, and guests, following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with colleagues and other departments.
