Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee interior and exterior building upkeep, grounds maintenance, and safety compliance. The role reports to the Executive Director and requires supervising maintenance staff and coordinating with contractors on building systems.

The incumbent will manage work orders, train staff, and prepare units for resident move-ins, including painting, flooring, and fixtures.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising maintenance staff.
• Extensive knowledge of building systems: plumbing, HVAC, electrical.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond to emergencies.
• Safety-conscious and compliant with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Repair and oversee maintenance of equipment and facilities.
• Maintain and repair building grounds and exterior.
• Track and respond to work orders promptly.
• Train staff on operations and emergency procedures.
• Prepare apartments for resident move-ins (painting, flooring, fans).
• Ensure fire safety and regulatory compliance.
• Inspect resident apartments for hazards.
• Schedule preventive maintenance and keep QA records.
• Respond to emergencies outside of regular hours.
• Other duties as assigned.
