Job summary

QSL Management in Aiken, SC is seeking a Director of Facility Maintenance to lead the maintenance, repair and housekeeping of The Barclay House of Aiken. You will ensure world-class accommodations and a safe living environment for residents, visitors and staff.

This role requires supervising staff, coordinating preventive maintenance, managing safety compliance, and working with outside contractors as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Working knowledge of OSHA compliance and laws.
• Preferably two years of supervisory experience in building maintenance or housekeeping.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Manual tasks at a physically active pace; ability to use common tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop and direct maintenance, repair and housekeeping of the building.
• Hire, evaluate, coordinate and supervise department staff including housekeepers and an assistant director.
• Implement preventive maintenance to ensure a safe living environment for residents, visitors and staff.
• Assist with transportation of residents as needed.
• Coordinate with outside contractors for maintenance projects.
