Job summary

Silver Tree Residential, LLC is seeking a dependable Facilities Director to oversee maintenance and capital improvement activities for Capitol View Tower Apartments in Lincoln, a senior-living community with 105 apartment homes. The role supervises 1–2 staff and reports to the Community Director.

Qualifications

• 5 years property maintenance experience.
• Leadership and organizational skills.
• HVAC certified and strong working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliances.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license, automobile insurance and reliable transportation.
• Must have his/ her own tools.
• Must pass background check, drug screen and physical assessment.
• All maintenance personnel report to work at regularly scheduled hours, with physical ability to walk the property, stairs, lift heavy items and perform tasks regularly.

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance-related and capital improvement activities under the Community Director and Regional VP.
• Inspect, schedule and perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment as directed.
• Assist management with policies, standards, procedures and programs for upkeep of property.
• Communicate effectively with employees, residents, vendors and co-workers.
• Share on-call responsibilities on a rotating basis.
