Job summary

True Connection Communities is seeking a Maintenance Director to lead the maintenance team within our senior living community. You will oversee hiring, training, budgeting and safety programs while directing preventive maintenance and repairs of all systems and facilities.

The role requires ensuring regulatory compliance, managing costs and coordinating with vendors to sustain high-quality resident environments. Strong supervisory and HVAC/mechanical knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years’ supervisory experience in a building maintenance role.
• Experience in maintenance with property management or senior living is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hiring, training and managing maintenance staff; prepare schedules and conduct performance reviews.
• Motivate, train, and evaluate department staff; maintain appropriate staffing levels.
• Ensure safety, health and regulatory compliance across building operations and inspections.
• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical systems and document PM data.
• Coordinate with external vendors for maintenance and grounds services.
