Legend Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Director to lead the maintenance and housekeeping teams, ensuring safe, welcoming living spaces for residents. You will oversee repairs, preventive maintenance, and budget management, while guiding staff and coordinating with vendors.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in electrical, HVAC and repairs/maintenance
• Experience supervising maintenance and housekeeping personnel
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite

Responsibilities

• Maintain, inspect and repair equipment, systems, structure and grounds of the residence, including electrical, carpentry, HVAC, plumbing, roof, etc.
• Manage the department budget and expenses, including supply inventory
• Directly supervise all maintenance and housekeeping staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, work orders
• Obtain quotes for third party repairs and ensure outside vendors complete projects as requested
• Utilize the maintenance management system to document work orders, preventive maintenance and inspections
• Schedule and complete preventive maintenance and life safety inspections and safety meetings
• Fulfill other duties as needed, such as Manager-On-Duty on a rotating basis or after-hours availability
