Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities is seeking an Executive Director to lead a senior living community in Norman, OK through a transition and beyond. You will build relationships with residents, families, and staff while maintaining a strong culture, service quality, and resident satisfaction.

You will guide budgeting, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence, ensuring alignment with Primrose Mission and Core Values across all departments and programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, gerontology, business, or related field.
• Three or more years working in the senior living industry.
• Supervisory experience with increasing levels of responsibility in operations.
• Knowledge of laws related to Assisted Living and Memory Care.
• Ability to interpret financial statements and administer a budget.
• On-call availability and responsiveness to urgent needs.

Responsibilities

• Ensures continuity and quality across nursing care, resident engagement, dining, housekeeping, and maintenance.
• Builds positive relationships with residents and families; promotes open communication.
• Develops and manages budget; controls food, supply and labor costs.
• Oversees all business-related activities including deposits, rent recaps, bills, and payroll.
• Leads departmental teams; enforces policies and Primrose values.
• Oversees onboarding and staff training per state and company standards.
• Oversees performance of all community departments and applies disciplinary actions when needed.
