Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities in Missouri seeks an Executive Director to oversee daily operations and ensure the overall success of the retirement community. You will lead staff, manage budgets, and maintain high-quality services for residents and their families.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in healthcare or business, 3+ years in senior living, strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to interpret financial statements and keep payroll and expenses within budget

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, gerontology, business or related field preferred.
• Three or more years in the senior living industry.
• Experience supervising teams with increasing responsibility in operations.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local Assisted Living regulations.
• Ability to interpret financial statements and administer a budget.
• Compliance with workers’ comp and OSHA requirements; on-call availability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations to ensure delivery and quality of services across departments.
• Build relationships with residents and families; promote open communication.
• Develop, implement, and administer the community budget; monitor costs.
• Oversee banking, payroll, bills and other business-related activities.
• Provide leadership to department heads and enforce company policies and values.
• Oversee onboarding and staff training to meet state and Primrose standards.
• Evaluate performance, provide feedback, and address disciplinary actions.
