Job summary

Willow Ridge Memory Care in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced Executive Director to oversee daily operations, lead a compassionate team, and ensure the highest quality of resident care. You will drive budgeting, regulatory compliance, staff development, and community outreach while partnering with residents’ families and referral sources to sustain occupancy and excellent outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of leadership experience in Assisted Living, Memory Care, or senior living operations.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal senior living regulations and compliance.
• Proven experience in financial management, staff development, and resident relations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid NC Assisted Living Administrator License (or ability to obtain).
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the community, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations while maintaining the highest standards of care and service.
• Recruit, hire, train, and mentor department leaders and staff to build a high performing, engaged team. Provide ongoing coaching and performance management. Operates within established budgetary guidelines.
• Foster strong relationships with residents and their families, ensuring high levels of satisfaction. Address concerns promptly and creates a positive, inclusive community environment.
• Develop and manage annual operating and capital budgets. Monitor financial performance, control expenses, and implement strategies to meet or exceed revenue and profitability targets.
• Ensure compliance with all licensing requirements, safety standards, and company policies. Maintain readiness for inspections and audits.
• Partner with the sales team to drive occupancy, support marketing initiatives, and engage with prospective residents and referral sources.
• Collaborate with clinical leaders to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and services that meet the evolving needs of residents.
• Represent Willow Ridge Memory Care within the local community, building relationships with healthcare professionals, vendors, and civic organizations to promote the community’s visibility and reputation.
