Job summary

Jaybird Senior Living in Minnesota is seeking an Executive Director to lead our Assisted Living and Memory Care community. You will oversee daily operations, guide staff, manage budgets, and ensure resident satisfaction while maintaining regulatory compliance.

This role requires a proven leader with at least one year in management in long-term care, strong communication, and a commitment to quality service. The position is on-site with on-call responsibilities and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Business Admin, Communications, or related field; LALD preferred.
• Minimum 1 year supervisory/management experience in long-term care, healthcare, or senior living.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and public relations abilities; flexible hours on call as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead, recruit, train, and supervise on-site staff; promote teamwork.
• Oversee all operations including culinary, housekeeping, maintenance, and resident care.
• Collaborate with Healthcare Coordinator to meet care needs and service plans.
• Monitor budgets, billing, rent collection, and expenses; produce monthly and annual reports.
• Drive occupancy through marketing, events, and community relations.
• Conduct building inspections, family communications, and staff in-services.
• Serve as primary on-call leader for emergencies.
• Ensure compliance with policies, state regulations, and HIPAA.
