Job summary

Jaybird Senior Living is seeking an Executive Director to lead our Assisted Living and Memory Care community. You will oversee daily operations, staff leadership, budgeting, occupancy goals, resident satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include recruiting and supervising on-site staff, coordinating with the Healthcare Coordinator, managing budgets and reports, driving occupancy through marketing and events, and ensuring HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• At least 1 year of supervisory or management experience in long-term care, healthcare, or senior living.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and public relations abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, recruit, train, and supervise on-site staff; ensure high performance and teamwork.
• Oversee all community operations, including culinary, housekeeping, maintenance, and resident care programs.
• Partner with Healthcare Coordinator to ensure resident care needs are met.
• Monitor budgets, billing, rent collection, and expenses; prepare monthly and annual financial reports.
