Job summary

Jaybird Senior Living is seeking an Executive Director to lead our assisted living and memory care community. You will oversee daily operations, staffing, budgeting, occupancy, resident satisfaction, and regulatory compliance, while creating a welcoming environment for residents, families, and staff.

You will recruit and develop on-site teams, manage budgets and marketing initiatives, and ensure high-quality care plans in partnership with the Healthcare Coordinator.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• At least 1 year of supervisory/management experience in long-term care, healthcare, or senior living.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and public relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, recruit, train, and supervise on-site staff to foster high performance and teamwork.
• Oversee all community operations, including culinary services, housekeeping, maintenance, and resident care programs.
• Partner with Healthcare Coordinator to meet resident care needs and service plans.
• Monitor budgets, billing, rent collection, and expenses; prepare monthly/annual financial reports.
• Drive occupancy goals through marketing, events, and community relations.
• Conduct regular building inspections, family communication, and staff in-services.
• Serve as primary on-call leader for emergencies and ensure HIPAA compliance.
