Job summary

Jaybird Senior Living seeks an experienced Executive Director to lead our Assisted Living and Memory Care community. You will oversee daily operations, guide staff, manage budgets, and drive occupancy while ensuring resident and family satisfaction and regulatory compliance.

You'll partner with clinical and support teams to deliver high-quality services, recruit top talent, and foster a compassionate, safe, and engaging environment for seniors and their caregivers.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 1+ year in supervision/management in long-term care or senior living.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours and on-call as needed.
• Commitment to quality service and well-being of seniors.

Responsibilities

• Lead, recruit, train, and supervise on-site staff; ensure high performance and teamwork.
• Oversee community operations including culinary services, housekeeping, maintenance, and resident care.
• Partner with Healthcare Coordinator to ensure resident care needs are met.
• Monitor budgets, billing, rent collection, and expenses; prepare financial reports.
• Drive occupancy goals through marketing initiatives and community relations.
• Conduct regular building inspections and staff in-services.
• Serve as primary on-call leader for emergencies.
• Uphold compliance with policies, state regulations, and HIPAA.
