Job summary

West St. Paul Opco LLC is seeking an Executive Director to lead day-to-day administration and operations of a senior living community in Minnesota.

The role focuses on regulatory compliance, financial performance, staffing oversight, occupancy support, resident and family satisfaction, and culture building in a home-like environment. The position requires an active Minnesota LALD license (or ability to obtain) and strong leadership experience in senior living.

Qualifications

• Active LALD license in Minnesota or ability to obtain prior to start.
• Minimum 2 years leadership experience in senior living or related setting.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Experience in operations, budgeting, or departmental oversight.
• Knowledge of state regulations related to assisted living/memory care.
• Proficiency with electronic systems such as HR, EHR, CRM or scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Lead regulatory compliance and licensing with zero lapses and timely reporting.
• Manage financial performance, payroll, and adherence to budget targets.
• Oversee occupancy, marketing support, and outreach to drive occupancy goals.
• Ensure resident engagement, activity programming, and family satisfaction.
• Maintain staffing levels, onboarding, training, and leadership development.
• Drive quality, safety, QAPI participation, and risk management.
• Foster collaboration and strong culture across shifts and teams.
• Prepare and submit operational reports on time and communicate updates.
