Job summary

WellQuest Living is seeking an Executive Director to oversee operations at Carmel Village in Fountain Valley, CA. You will manage day-to-day activities, staff oversight, budgeting, and regulatory compliance to ensure a high standard of resident care.

The role requires leadership experience in senior living, RCFE certification, and the ability to drive occupancy and quality of life for residents.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' experience providing residential care to the elderly.
• Must possess and maintain current California RCFE certification.
• Must have knowledge of the elderly and for providing care and supervision appropriate to the residents.
• Must be people oriented with strong management and organizational skills.
• Must have the ability to maintain or supervise the maintenance of financial and other records.
• Must possess good character and a continuing reputation of personal integrity.
• Must possess the personal characteristics, physical energy and competence to provide care and services and, where applicable, to work effectively with social agencies.
• Must be able to work flexible hours to meet the demands of the position.
• Must be able to exercise good judgment and make competent decisions.
• Must be able to maintain a high level of mental concentration.

Responsibilities

• Direct overall management and control of the property's activities, residents and financial assets.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, procedures and all laws and regulations.
• Monitor marketing and sales efforts to project monthly census goals.
• Hire, evaluate, coordinate, motivate, monitor staff per company policy.
• Consult with department directors concerning the operation of their departments.
• Represent the property in dealings with outside agencies and government bodies.

Education

Two years of college

40 hours of classroom education every two years
