Job summary

Independence Village of Carmel is seeking a Wellness Director (LPN/RN) responsible for directing clinical resident care services in a 1440-experience community. The role leads the care team, coordinates evaluations, care conferences and service plans to ensure quality resident outcomes.

The director will manage revenue, maintain regulatory compliance, and collaborate with the Executive Director and Sales Team to market wellness services. Occasional on-call and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• LPN or RN license valid in the state.
• CDP certification within 90 days or upon hire.
• Experience in Assisted Living/Memory Care preferred.
• Leadership experience is preferred.
• Ability to manage revenue and finances.

Responsibilities

• Lead and be accountable for your team and their performance.
• Drive revenue for Wellness, evaluations, care conferences and service plans with appropriate staffing.
• Coordinate Alzheimer’s and Dementia programs.
• Ensure understanding of 1440 care standards.
• Communicate vision linking organizational goals to staff and residents.
• Build relationships with community partners and external stakeholders.
• Support marketing efforts with the Executive Director and Sales Team.
• Perform resident admissions evaluations and set measurable goals.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and audits.
• Review orders and coordinate with pharmacy for medication administration.
• Address incidents and coordinate care conferences as needed.
• Maintain updated emergency policies and staff communication.
