Job summary

LCB Senior Living in Lewes, DE is hiring an Executive Chef at The Lodge at Historic Lewes. This full-time role leads day-to-day kitchen operations, plans menus, and oversees staff to deliver high-quality meals for residents.

You will collaborate with the Culinary Services Director, ensure sanitation standards, and manage labor and costs while maintaining resident satisfaction. Serve Safe certified and culinary degree preferred; evenings/weekends required.

Qualifications

• Serve Safe Certification.
• Proficiency in food handling, preparation, cooking and operation of kitchen equipment.
• Provide direction to staff and train in development opportunities.
• Ability to create seasonal menus and manage food displays.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission and core values of the Residence and LCB Senior Living to residents and staff.
• Lead menu development and recipe implementation.
• Manage labor, occupancy, expenses and quality of food to meet budgets.
• Interview, hire, orient, train, supervise and evaluate staff.
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards.
